Men End Fall Golf Season

KINGSTON, Okla. - The Southwestern Oklahoma State University men's golf team ended its four-tournament fall season with a seventh-place finish at the Texoma Championship. The two-day, 54-hole event was concluded Tuesday at the Chickasaw Pointe Golf Club in Kingston, Texas.
SWOSU shot a final round 325 and finished with a 932 easily ahead of Texas A&M-Commerce, Incarnate Word and Southern Arkansas in the 10-team, 58-person field. Northwood University won the team title with an 892 total, seven strokes better than Cameron. Northwood had the top two golfers in the tournament - Lucas Bogdan and J.D. Wyatt. Bogdan was the runaway winner with an 11-under par score of 205, 15 shots better than his teammate and second-place finisher J.D. Wyatt was at 220, four-over par.
SWOSU's Brad Leeper had the first top 10 finish of any Bulldog this year thanks to a final round 79 placing him in a ninth-place tie at 226, 10-over par. Leeper had rounds of 73 and 74 on Monday to go with his 79 on Tuesday.
Other SWOSU finishers and their scores are as follows: Ben Cluassen finished tied for 20th with scores of 79, 77, 76 for 232; Dakota Brown was tied for 30th with rounds of 78, 71 and 89 for 238; Jordan Hudson was 38th with rounds of 78, 78, 85 for 241 and Brad Dickson was 41st with rounds of 80, 77 and 85.
