Wiedel Advances at Pratt

PRATT, Kans. –Brittany Wiedel was the only SWOSU cowgirl to advance to the second round of competition at the Pratt Rodeo. Wiedel moved on in goat tying thanks to a 9.7 second effort in the long round. She did finish among the top six in the short round.

Southeastern Oklahoma State University won the women’s team competition with 210 points followed by Garden City with 205 points and Oklahoma State University with 180 points. SWOSU did not score any points as a team.

SWOSU’s next rodeo will be Nov. 1-3 at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva. The NWOSU rodeo will complete the three-rodeo fall season.
