Soccer Team Collects Academic Award

WEATHERFORD – Southwestern Oklahoma State University collected a team academic award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for exceptional achievement in the classroom from its women’s soccer team.
The Bulldogs, under the direction of coach Joe Bradley, were honored by the national soccer organization thanks to its collective team GPA of 3.26.
The academic award is given out to each school that posts a team grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2005-06 academic year.
SWOSU’s soccer team had 11 players represented on the school’s student-athlete honor roll this current semester led by three with straight A’s – Kristin Kirtland, Rachel Welch, Chelsea Edwards.
