Kim Huxford begins her first season as an assistant softball coach at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She previously coached as an assistant at her alma matter, Oklahoma Baptist University.

Huxford, a native of El Campo, Texas, played three years for the OBU Bisons where she was an all-region and all-conference shortstop each season.
