SWOSU to Host Softball Festival

WEATHERFORD –Twice delayed by winter weather, the Southwestern Oklahoma State University softball team appears ready to finally begin the 2007 season. The Bulldogs will host a two-day, four-team festival beginning Saturday morning and continuing on Sunday afternoon.
NCAA Division II schools Adams State (Colorado) and Washburn (Kansas) along with St. Gregory’s an Oklahoma NAIA school will each participate in the festival. The first game Saturday will be at 11 a.m. and features SWOSU against Adams State. That will be followed by SWOSU vs. Washburn at 12:30 p.m. Washburn will play St. Gregory’s at 2 p.m. before the final game will be St. Gregory’s vs. Adams State scheduled to begin around 4:30 p.m.
Three games are scheduled for Sunday with the first beginning at 12 noon with Adam State against Washburn. The 2 p.m. game will be Adams State against SWOSU with the final game Washburn against SWOSU starting at approximately 4 p.m.
