In the first game, April Nash provided the big hits and Alex Zukerman cruised on the mound.

In the second game, SWOSU managed just one run off ECU pitcher Amanda Boyce. Nash reached on an error and then scored when Teryn Mazurkewich followed with a triple in the top half of the second.
ECU scored the go-ahead run in their half of the second when Jessi Kohout drew a bases-loaded walk to put the Tigers ahead 2-1.
The Bulldogs had chances to tie or take the lead on other occasions, twice getting runners to third base. However, each time Boyse buckled down and protected the one-run lead.
The two teams will play again Friday in Weatherford. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
