Softball at Crossover Tournament

IRVING, Texas – Southwestern Oklahoma State University will be one of 14 Lone Star Conference softball teams that will participate in the league’s annual crossover tournament. The two-day, 28-game tournament takes place at Southwest Park in Irving, Texas with games running on both Friday and Saturday.

The tournament features a classic format, where no champion is determined. The event provides an opportunity for LSC teams, who are split into North and South Divisions for regular conference play, to play teams from the opposite division.

SWOSU, 14-16 on the year, open play Friday against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 10 a.m. The Bulldogs will next play Tarleton State at 4 p.m. On Saturday, SWOSU plays Eastern New Mexico at 10 a.m. and Abilene Christian at 12 p.m.

SWOSU’s next home game will be April 10 against Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
