Softball Plans Spaghetti Fundraiser

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Area residents will have a chance to enjoy a full spaghetti dinner complete with all the fixings as prepared by members of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University softball team. The evening meal is part of a fundraising event planned Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008 in Room 101 in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse.

After the meal, diners will have a chance to meet and visit with members of the Bulldog softball team and later to attend the doubleheader basketball game being played in the gymnasium that evening.

The event is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and will conclude at 7 p.m. The money raised is to help pay for new apparel, equipment and help defray the cost of travel and meals on the road.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance by contacting any member of the SWOSU softball team or by calling Coach Tami Loy at 580-774-3226. Tickets will also be made available at the door for the same price.
