Two Named to All-Tournament Team

SAN ANGELO, Texas - Southwestern Oklahoma State University had two softball players selected to the all-tournament team at the recently completed Angelo State University Blue and Gold Classic.
SWOSU's Fallon Bradshaw and Katie Raines were among the 17 players selected from the six participating teams. SWOSU finished the tournament with a 2-4 record winning its final its final two games Sunday against Missouri Western and Fort Hays State.
Bradshaw, a sophomore outfielder from Oklahoma City, was the team's top hitter over the weekend with a .450 average. She had nine hits in 20 at bats while scoring two runs and stealing two bases.
Raines, a freshman from Yukon, won her first collegiate start as a pitcher beating Missouri Western by a 7-4 score. Raines also pitched in relief in an earlier game against West Texas A&M. For the week, she pitched eight innings, allowed 10 hits and seven runs, only one of which was earned. She carried a 1.12 ERA through that span.
SWOSU will next play Friday when it begins a six-game run at the Southeastern Oklahoma State University Invitational in Durant.
