Creger Wins LSC Award

RICHARDSON, Texas-Southwestern Oklahoma State University Stacy Creger was selected as the Lone Star Conference North Division Softball Player-of-the-Week for her recent efforts in the Bulldogs 3-1 series win against Northeastern State University.

Creger, a junior third baseman from Mustang, had nine consecutive hits in nine at bats for the Bulldogs in the four games. She smashed two home runs, including a grand slam in a 14-5 victory in game one of the series. She ended the opener with six RBI's, the most by a SWOSU player since Ida Hoffman had 7 in 2003 against Bartlesville Wesleyan.

She is the top hitter on SWOSU's team this season with a .449 average through 18 games.
