High School:  Attended Blue Valley West High School in Kansas City...Led the defense on 2007 6A state runner up team…Selected to Kansas All-State team and led team in digs during All-State Senior Showcase match….Eastern Kansas League Scholar Athlete and member of the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years.

Coach Comments: Kayla is a special player and represents the future of SWOSU’s defense.  Her ability to take over a match and infuse a team with confidence is just the thing we will need.  Having her and Maddie next to each other on the floor will be a huge advantage for us against the big hitting teams of the LSC.”

Personal: Born July 31, 1989...Parents are Mike and Tandee Bader...Has two older brothers, Zach and Jerod...Favorite athlete is Misty May...Plans on majoring in biology and later attend Med School.
