Josh Collins - Assistant Coach

Josh Collins returns for his fourth year with the volleyball team.  He has served the athletic department in many aspects during his four years here as both a student and a graduate.  He began as a student assistant for men’s basketball and later was promoted to the lead assistant role for current coach and Athletic Director Todd Thurman. He currently serves as the Neff Hall Resident Director.  Through all the different jobs, he never strayed from volleyball.  He has been assisting the SWOSU program in one capacity or another since the program’s inception in 2005.  He has also managed to receive both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in sport management as well

“I have known Josh since his playing days at Clarendon College when he played basketball while I was coaching the volleyball team,” Pagliasotti said.  “His ability to locate players that can come in and work so well together has been a great tool for this program. He continues to increase our team's synergy and unity.  Josh has been great for this program and I am glad he has become a mainstay with this team."

Collins responsibilities include recruitment, practice development and in-match assistance
