Head Coach

Bo Pagliasotti - Head Coach

Bo Pagliasotti begins his third season as head coach of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s volleyball program. The 35-year old coach is the school’s first and only volleyball coach since the program’s inception in 2005.

While his second year saw an increase in wins (10-22) that doubled the teams previous year (5-27), the 2007 season promises to be another big one in Lone Star Conference. The Bulldogs are led by 6 seniors all eager to make a mark during their last season and with 33 matches(14 regional, and 12 conference) they will have ample opportunity.  Another milestone for Pagliasotti is that this will be his first graduating class for the SWOSU Volleyball team.

Pagliasotti previously coached at Clarendon College where his last team was 19-16 and made a return trip to the Texas junior college playoffs. His overall record at Clarendon was 33-55, which included an 0-23 mark in his first year when he took over a team one week prior to the first game. The next year he brought in 15 new players and Clarendon’s climb began with a 14-16 record and a first-ever trip to the playoffs in 2003.

Pagliasotti is also serving the American Volleyball Coaches Association(AVCA) as a member of the NCAA Division II Head Coaches Committee.  He is an active member of both the AVCA and the United States Volleyball Association.  He is an instructor in both the Kinesiology and Sport Management Departments at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

Pagliasotti, a native of Denver, CO has additional coaching experience as an assistant at Texas A&M-Commerce beginning in 1997. He stayed 5 seasons at the LSC school before Clarendon offered him the lead volleyball position in 2002.

He holds both a bachelor’s degree in English/Kinesiology and master’s degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M-Commerce. He and his wife, Debra, are the parents of a son, Hunter, and a daughter, Harper.
