SWOSU Falls in Three Straight to MSU

Wichita Falls, TX - Southwestern Oklahoma State was unable to generate much of an offensive rhythm and were beaten 30-13, 30-15, 30-15 by Midwestern State in volleyball action Saturday in Wichita Falls, Texas.The Bulldogs, now 3-17 overall and 0-5 in league play, did not have a positive hitting percentage until the third game and finished with a -.040 attack percentage overall. SWOSU had more errors (31) than kills (26).
Midwestern State, who improved to 17-8 overall and 2-4 in the division, hit .387 as a team.
SWOSU was led offensively by Janna Green who had seven kills and Kasandra Gurtner added six. Defensively, Green and teammate Tiffany Shedrock each had eight kills.
SWOSU returns to action Tuesday when they play at Oklahoma Panhandle State, a team that the Bulldogs have already beaten twice this year. SWOSU’s next home game is Thursday, Oct. 20 against Texas A&M-Commerce.
