Volleyball Serves Up Two Signees

 Kristen Kaufman, senior setter at Trinity High School in Euless, TX signed a National Letter of Intent the morning of April 12 at her High School.  Kristen finished the 05-06 season among the leading setters in the D/FW Metroplex with 115 games played and 964 total assists.  She has played USAV Club Volleyball since her 6th grade year on teams such as Texas Advantage, Team North Texas and currently is the setter for Texas Image 18’s.  Kristen wants to pursue a degree that will aid her in a career in Business, Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sales.  

The Bulldogs also added Amber Coles, a Junior College transfer from Redlands Community College, to the 2006 team roster.  Amber is a graduate of Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City.  Amber is expected to make a strong impact at Right Side and at 6’3 she should push for time at that position left by former player Krista Butler.  Playing in about 2/3 of the games this past year at Redlands under Coach Kristin Vincent, Amber amassed 93 kills, 19 assists, 9 blocks and 7 digs.
