WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southwestern Oklahoma State University put together an impressive effort and made short work of visiting Oklahoma Panhandle State University, winning a 3-0 volleyball match Wednesday in Weatherford. The Bulldogs were comfortable victors by scores of 30-15, 30-20, 20-24.

The Bulldogs improved to 7-8 with the win and will play their next two matches at home against Cameron on Thursday, Sept. 20 and Midwestern State on Saturday, Sept. 22. The matches will be played in the University Wellness Center because of floor resurfacing that is taking place in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse.

Kacia Sandburg and teammate Kristin Kaufman worked together on a number of plays and were together responsible for 15 of SWOSU’s 44 kills. The Bulldogs finished with a .269 attack percentage with 44 kills against only 15 errors in 108 attempts.

OPSU was barely in positive territory with 28 kills and 27 errors in 117 attempts for a percentage of .009.
