Volleyball Beaten by Cameron

LAWTON, Okla.  – Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s came up short in its first conference volleyball match losing in three straight games to traditional power Cameron University Thursday night in Lawton.

The Bulldogs fell by scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-15. The loss was SWOSU’s third straight and dropped its overall record to 5-8 and 0-1 in conference play. Cameron improved to 6-5 on the year and 1-0 in league play.

SWOSU will continue conference play Saturday at Midwestern State. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Ligdon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Offensively, Jennifer Naramore and Kacia Sandburg provided the bulk of the Bulldogs attack combining for 13 of the teams 22 kills. SWOSU as a team finished with an attack percentage of .058 compared to Cameron’s .170.
