October 7, 2008
WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s volleyball team will join hundreds of other teams from across the country in participating in the Dig Pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally. High school and college teams will be promoting Breast health education in the community as well as raising funds to help eradicate Breast Cancer throughout the month of October. The SWOSU volleyball team is sponsoring a “Dig Pink” event for tonight’s game against Bacone College.
Gametime is at 7:00 p.m. in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse. Those attending tonight’s game are encouraged to wear pink in support of the Bulldogs. Admission to the event is free and donations will be accepted at the event.
“We are trying for a 500 Person Pink-Out and we need your help to show support for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” SWOSU coach Bo Pagliasotti said. “A cure could be just your dollar away.”
