Camp Overview

Tech Trek will take place on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) campus in Weatherford, OK, from Sunday, July 14, to Saturday, July 20, 2013. All sleeping, eating, instructional, and recreational facilities are located on or near the SWOSU campus. Preliminary plans include:

• Interactive and hands-on learning of concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
• On-sight activities at the Stafford Air & Space Museum, P Bar Farms, Crowder Lake University Park, and Deer Creek Conservation District.
• Day-long field trip to the Weatherford Wind Energy Center and STEM-related businesses in Elk City.
• Professional night, featuring mentors in STEM-related careers.
• Friday evening picnic, canoeing, and ropes course at Crowder Lake University Park for campers and their families
• Saturday Closing Ceremony and Awards Banquet for campers and their families.
