The Economic Impact provides a quantifiable and economically sound method for determining the relative impact of proposed or impending changes to a regional economy. It allows users to discover which sectors of the local region actually drive the economy.
Cluster Requirements February 2006
Cluster Requirements displays in dollars how much a cluster purchases from other industries, and the percent of those purchases that are satisfied from inside and outside of the region. This shows how dependent a cluster is on imports. It is divided into nine different areas, which are aerospace, communication, computer and software, construction and materials, energy, foods product and services, health, information, and metal and machining.
