Library Advisory Committee

The Library Advisory Committee acts as an advisory committee to the Director of the Library. Members are representatives of the various departments, divisions, and schools. Members also report library policies to their units and report faculty and student needs to the Director of the Library.

One faculty member from each academic department is recommended to the Director of the Library. The committee also includes one undergraduate student nominated by the Student Government Association and one graduate student nominated by the Graduate Council. Members are appointed by the Provost and the President of the University.
