This resource is a full-text database that provides essays presenting multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides 250 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument), counterpoint (opposing argument), and a Critical Thinking Guide. VAST: Academic Video Online
VAST: Academic Video Online is Alexander Street Press’ flagship video database containing thousands of video titles in a wide range of disciplines, including biology, business, education, healthcare, the humanities, the physical sciences, and the social sciences. The VAST video collection can be browsed or searched by discipline.

Search the holdings of academic, public, and special libraries throughout the US and the world. Use WorldCat to search for books, videos, and other materials not owned by the SWOSU library and request them through interlibrary loan.

Search and browse the full-text of over 100 journals that the SWOSU library subscribes to online. Tables of contents and abstracts are available for journals that the library does not subscribe to online.
EBSCOhost Mobile
EBSCOhost Mobile lets you search any of SWOSU's EBSCOhost databases using your iPhone, WiFi-capable iPod, BlackBerry, or Palm device. It also works well on netbooks and PCs with slow Internet connections. EBSCOhost Mobile defaults to Academic Search Complete, but you can easily switch to any other EBSCO database.

JSTOR is a full-text scholarly journal archive. JSTOR specializes in making available the back issues of journals in a wide variety of humanities and social science disciplines. Issues are available both as images and as text. Searching is possible within each title and across the whole database.
