This database covers the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present. It contains indexing for over 1,700 journals from as far back as 1910 and full-text coverage of more than 200 journals and nearly 100 books. This collection from the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) documents the life of America's people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction and provide access to the most comprehensive digital collection of American periodicals published between 1691 and 1877.

American History in Video
American History in Video provides a rich collection of video for the study of American history. The collection allows students and researchers to analyze historical events and their presentation over time through commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and important documentaries. This database offers a comprehensive collection of over 450,000 full-text biographies, including the complete full text run of Biography Today and Biography Magazine, as well as thousands of narrative biographies from addition sources.

The Encyclopedia contains articles written by leading scholars of Oklahoma's past and culture. Articles can be searched or browsed by subject and historical period. The Encyclopedia is published by the Oklahoma Historical Society.

Historical Abstracts with Full Text
This database covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present, including world history, military history, women's history, history of education, and much more. Historical Abstracts indexes historical articles from more than 2,300 journals in over 40 languages back to 1955 and provides the full text of more than 330 journals and 119 books.

JSTOR is a full-text scholarly journal archive. JSTOR specializes in making available the back issues of journals in a wide variety of humanities and social science disciplines. Issues are available both as images and as text. Searching is possible within each title and across the whole database.

Kanopy offers video streaming for thousands of films covering a wide array of subjects across the disciplines. This resource provides full text from over 340 military and general interest publications. Designed to bring current news to all branches of the military. This database also offers indexing and abstracts for over 380 magazines. Some titles included are Military Review, Parameters, Army Times, and Defense.
Native American Archives
This collection provides more than 1.8 million pages of original historical documents pertaining to Native American history and life from the 18th through the 20th century. The collection includes treaties, agreements, and correspondence indexed by date, place, and tribe.

North American Indian Thought and Culture
This resource integrates writings, images, and oral histories to cover the entire history of North America; from 17th century accounts of the first encounters involving Indians and European colonists to the stories of aboriginals living in a 21st century world. The database is dedicated to telling the life stories of both the well-known historical figures such as Pocahontas and Sitting Bull, and also the lesser-known men and women whose day-to-day experiences give an equally valuable portrayal of Indian culture. The Oklahoma Periodicals Index provides a searchable online index to articles about people, places, history, culture, wildlife, and natural history in the state of Oklahoma with some coverage outside the state. Project MUSE provides complete, full-text versions of scholarly journals from many of the world's leading university presses and scholarly societies. SWOSU has access to over 600 full text humanities and social science journals through Project Muse.
Revolutionary War Era Orderly Books from the New York Historical Society
The Orderly Books collection contains handwritten volumes documenting military orders, movements and engagements by brigade, regiment, company, and other specific military units between 1748 and 1817. The content provides detailed accounts of troops’ daily lives, documenting everything from court martial cases to the price of necessities charged by locals. Given the dearth of soldiers’ diaries, Orderly Books provides historically valuable information about soldiers’ lives.

SocINDEX with Full Text
This resource is the world's most comprehensive and highest quality sociology research database. Its extensive scope and content provide users with a wealth of extremely useful information encompassing the broad spectrum of sociological study. SocINDEX contains full-text for 428 core coverage journals dating back to 1908, and 163 "priority" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for more than 735 books and monographs, and full text for over 6,700 conference papers.
