Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews | More Cochrane databases ...
The CDSR is database of reviews which identify an intervention for a specific disease or other problem in health care, and determine whether this intervention works. To do this, authors locate, appraise and synthesize evidence from as many relevant scientific studies as possible. They summarize conclusions about effectiveness, and provide a unique collation of the known evidence on a given topic, so that others can easily review the primary studies for any intervention. The CDSR is one of six Cochrane Collection databases.

This drug information resource provides monographs detailing actions, indications, administration and dosage, interactions, adverse reactions, warnings and more. Comprehensive tables compare products of similar formulation, including doseform and strength, distributor name, how supplied, product identification codes and more.
FDA Orange Book (Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence Evaluations)
The Orange Book identifies drug products approved on the basis of safety and effectiveness by the FDA. (Drugs approved only on the basis of safety are not included.) It also contains therapeutic equivalence evaluations for multisource prescription drug products. The Orange Book is searchable by active ingredient, proprietary name, applicant holder, and application number.
IBIDS (International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements)
IBIDS is now the PubMed Dietary Supplements Subset. This database contains citations to international scientific journals on the topic of dietary supplements, including vitamins, minerals, herbal and botanical supplements.
International Pharmaceutical Abstracts (IPA)
IPA provides worldwide coverage of pharmaceutical science and health related literature. Coverage includes drug therapy, toxicity, and pharmacy practice, as well as legislation, regulation, technology, utilization, biopharmaceutics, education, economics, and ethics as related to pharmaceutical science and practice. IPA indexes approximately 850 journals.

Merck Manual Online
The Merck Manual is the most widely used medical text in the world. Written by over 300 experts, it covers all but the most obscure disorders. In addition to describing symptoms, common clinical procedures, laboratory tests, and virtually all the disorders that a general internist might encounter, the Manual deals with problems of pregnancy and delivery; common and serious disorders of neonates, infants, and children; genetics; drug dependency; psychiatric disorders; and many disorders covered by other specialties.  Current therapy is presented for each disorder and supplemented with a separate section on clinical pharmacology.

RxList: the Internet Drug Index
A searchable database of clinically-oriented drug information.  Includes RxList ID, which allows you to identify unknown tablets and capsules by searching for their ID imprint codes and a list of the top 200 prescription drugs by brand name and generic name.
Science Citation Index Expanded
SCI is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the sciences. It fully indexes over 6,650 major journals across 150 scientific disciplines and includes all cited references captured from indexed articles.
