      An index to the official record of the proceedings and debates of the US Congress. It is published daily when Congress is in session.  Covers 1983-present.
    • Federal Register
      The official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other Presidential documents.
       
    • United States Code
      The general and permanent laws of the United States.
       
    • General Accounting Office (GAO) Reports
      Search the full-text of audits, surveys, investigations, and evaluations of federal programs.
       
    • Commerce Business Daily
      The official online listing of US government contracting opportunities.
  • Occupational Outlook Handbook
    Information on what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.
     
  • Patents
    Access US patent descriptions and images from the US Patent and Trademark Office. The patent database include full-text from 1976 to the present and full-page images from 1790 to the present.

Indexes to US Government Publications

  • GPO
    GPO includes citations to government publications, including monographs, serials, maps and some audiovisuals. Database coverage includes topics such as finance, business, demographics, agriculture, medicine, and public health. GPO contains approximately 50 percent of the published government documents.
    • Access restrictions: Available to SWOSU students, faculty, and staff on and off-campus.
  • Catalog of  US Government Publications
    Search for US government information products available through the Federal Depository Library Program. The Catalog can be used to locate a depository library that receives a particular product.
