Interlibrary Loan Service

The Interlibrary Loan Service (ILL) gives SWOSU students, faculty, and staff a fast, convenient way to obtain materials that are not available in the Al Harris Library. Please check the library catalog and the Periodical List to ensure that the materials you want are not already available in the library.

ILL Request Forms

Articles
For articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers.

Books, Videos, and Sound Recordings
For books, videos (including DVDs), and sound recodings.

ILL Guidelines

You may also submit interlibrary loan requests by filling out a paper interlibrary loan form available at the Reference Desk or the Circulation Desk. ILL requests can also be submitted directly from FirstSearch databases.

Undergraduate students can order up to 5 interlibrary loan items per week. There is no limit on the number of requests SWOSU employees and graduate students may make.

When your requested item(s) has been received in the Interlibrary Loan office, a notice will be emailed to you or you will be telephoned. Materials may be picked up at the Circulation Desk. Any fees due must be paid at that time. Most items are obtained at no cost to you. However, if there is a fee and you do not pay it, a hold will be placed on your transcript and your interlibrary loan privileges may be suspended.

If you have any questions please contact Ms. Mary Roberson at (580)774-7026 or by email at mary.roberson@swosu.edu.
