Login to Use Library Resources from Off-Campus

You can use the Library's online resources 24/7 from anywhere with Internet access. Some of the Library's online resources require that you login before you can use them. Read this page for information about using the Library from off-campus.

How does off-campus access work?

Some of the Library's online resources (such as the library catalog) don't require you to login before using them from off-campus. Other resources (such as Academic Search Premier) require that you login.

If you're a student, you login with your SWOSU Webmail username and password. (If you don't know your Webmail username and password read this page for help.)

If you're an employee, you login with your six-digit SWOSU ID number. Your ID number is printed on your SWOSU ID card.

Why do I have to login to some resources and not for others?

Many of the Library's online resources are purchased by subscription. As part of the subscription agreement publishers require the Library to limit access to SWOSU students, faculty, and staff.

I can't login! Who do I call?

The fastest way to get help is to call the Library Reference Desk at (580)774-7082. Reference Desk help is available whenever the Library is open. You can also get help online by using the Ask A Librarian form.
