Phi Mu Alpha
Phi Mu Alpha is
the national professional music fraternity for persons
in all music professions. Its purpose is to promote professional competency
and musical achievement, to advance the cause of music in America,
to foster the mutual welfare and brotherhood of students in music,
to develop the truest fraternal spirit among its members, and to encourage
loyalty to the Alma Mater. The Tau Phi chapter at SWOSU
has traditionally been Oklahoma's
strongest
Phi Mu Alpha chapter. The faculty advisor is Dr. Dennis Widen.
