- The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College, located on the campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, was presented a $400,000 check on May 7 from the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes.

Personal Training Certification Session Available at SWOSU

- Area residents interested in getting certified in personal training are invited to a National Exercise Trainers Association session that will be June 21-22 on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in Weatherford.

Hodge Named 2008 Outstanding Alumnus of SWOSU College of Pharmacy

- Jerry Hodge of Amarillo, Texas, has been named the 2008 Outstanding Alumnus of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy in Weatherford.

SWOSU Convocation this Saturday, May 10

- Approximately 900 Southwestern Oklahoma State University students are eligible to walk through the university's convocation at 10 a.m. this Saturday, May 10, at Milam Stadium in Weatherford.

SWOSU Student Working on Inflammatory Disease Research

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University senior Daniel Turner of Woodward has been awarded a NASA research scholarship to perform research on the cells involved in inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
