SWOSU Student Groups Awarded $70,000 in Activity Fee Monies

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University student organizations on the Weatherford campus will benefit from nearly $70,000 that was appropriated to the students from activity fee funds.

Registration Deadline Approaching for Sand Creek Massacre Symposium

- A free symposium to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the Sand Creek Massacre is coming Monday, November 3, on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in Weatherford, and the deadline to register is October 31.

Moon Festival Planned October 30 by SWOSU Student Organization

- A Moon Festival featuring an Asian lion dance, campfires, s’mores, Chinese paper lanterns, Vietnamese desserts, hot milk tea, DJ LiteBrite and a Halloween costume contest is planned on Thursday, October 30, at Crowder Lake University Park, located south of Weatherford.

Miss Oklahoma to Emcee Miss SWOSU Pageant this Saturday

- Miss Oklahoma Alex Eppler will serve as emcee and entertain at the Miss SWOSU Scholarship Pageant this Saturday, October 25, on the Weatherford campus.

Past President & CEO of National Wildlife Federation to Speak at SWOSU

- The former president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation will speak at Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Wednesday, October 29, as part of a biology seminar series on the Weatherford campus.

Two SWOSU Athletic Training Program Students Credited with Saving Life

Ten SWOSU Coeds and Eight Teens Compete for Titles on Saturday

- Ten SWOSU coeds and eight teens are contestants in the Miss SWOSU Scholarship Pageant and Miss SWOSU’s Outstanding Teen Pageant this Saturday, October 25, at 7 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center on the Weatherford campus of Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
