Addo Wins Karaoke Contest at SWOSU

Vania Addo was the winner of a student karaoke contest held January 21 on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in Weatherford.

Addo of Oklahoma City (Westmoore) won $150 from the Collegiate Activities Board, which sponsored the contest.

Finishing second and winners of $75 was the team of Shanna Clark of Marlow and Chris Hayes of Norman. Winning third place and $50 was Hardcore PH, comprised of Kelly Groves of Valley Center (KS) and Josh Abney of Marlow.

Shelby Higdon of CAB said the contest drew a big crowd and was very successful. The next event sponsored by CAB will be February 8, when a “Make Your Own Music Video” event will take place on the SWOSU campus.
