April 18, 2005

Enrollment is underway in several courses that will be offered at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford this summer and fall semesters that are geared toward American Indians.

Dr. Radwan Al-Jarrah, dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, said SWOSU has been working with American Indian leaders to offer more courses that are of interest to American Indians.

One course, Literature of the American Indians, will be offered this summer semester. Six courses—including Cheyenne Language I and II, Introduction to Business, Literature of the American Indians, American Indians, and Tribal Law and Sovereignty—will be offered during the 2005 fall semester.
