SWOSU Holds Another Successful Blood Drive
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Student Government Association has once again sponsored a successful blood drive on the Weatherford campus.
According to Michelle Stinson of the Oklahoma Blood Institute, 160 SWOSU students and staff attempted to donate blood at the April drive. A total of 137 donations were made.
“The efforts of Amanda Sampley (SGA drive chair), the Student Government Association and Southwestern Oklahoma State University are greatly appreciated and their support of the community blood drive program will go a long way toward maintaining blood supplies and ultimately saving lives,” Stinson said.
The next blood drive scheduled at SWOSU is Monday, June 13.
