Talent Being Sought for 24 Hours of Music Event

Phi Mu Alpha music fraternity at Southwestern Oklahoma State University is planning another 24 hours of music event this spring on the Weatherford campus.

The group is currently accepting applications for the event that will take place April 7-8 on the Weatherford campus.

All proceeds from the event will benefit western Oklahoma music programs. John Bowers said PMA raised over $1,200 last year in the inaugural event and are hoping for $2,000 this year.

Any group or individual that would be interested in performing should contact Carl Spaeth (carltspaeth@hotmail.com or (580) 302-1694) or Eric Pennello (saxmastereric@hotmail.com). All types of music are being sought including classical, jazz, country and rock.

Deadline for talent applications is March 10.

Tickets for the event will go on sale February 1. The $6 tickets will be available through the SWOSU Music Office or any PMA member.
