Children's Book Drive Being Held at SWOSU

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Al Harris Library and the Multi-County Youth Services are co-sponsoring a children’s book drive through April 7 on the Weatherford campus.

The drive is part of the theme “Change a Child’s World @ Your Library” for National Library Week on April 3-7.

Jason Dupree, interim head of information services at the Al Harris Library, said donations are welcome from everyone. Book donations should be materials that are appropriate for pre-school to pre-teen/young adult, and the books should be new or in excellent used condition.

Books can be deposited at the drop-off box located next to the circulation desk in the library. Dupree said all donated books collected during the drive will be presented to Multi-County Youth Services at the conclusion of National Library Week.
