Tuition Hearings Set at SWOSU
April 7, 2006
Tuition hearings have been scheduled for three different times on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campuses in Weatherford and Sayre.
The hearings are for the purpose of receiving views and comments on the subject of tuition and fees charged students as a condition for enrollment.
Hearings are set Wednesday, April 19, at 2 p.m. on the Sayre campus; Tuesday, April 25, at 12:30 p.m. and Wednesday, April 26, at 5 p.m. on the Weatherford campus. The hearing on the Sayre campus will be held in Room 313 of the Conner Building and the two Weatherford hearings will be in Room 104 of the Stafford Center.
Tom Fagan, vice president for administration and finance, will conduct the hearings, which are open to the public.
SWOSU students and the general public will have the opportunity to discuss and share opinions with administrators about possible tuition increases this fall.
Any increases in tuition and fees at SWOSU are first approved by the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges and then by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
