SWOSU-Sayre Offers New Testament Class

June 27, 2006

New Testament Survey is being offered this fall at Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Sayre campus. The class will meet Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. and will be taught by faculty member Landry Brewer.

“We will survey all 27 books of the New Testament and examine why they were written, who received them, who wrote them and when they were written,” Brewer said. “Early evidence authenticating each book will also be discussed.”

SWOSU students will earn elective credit toward degree completion, but the course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about the New Testament. This is the first time in several years that the class has been offered on the Sayre campus.

“I would like to invite members of the surrounding communities to enroll in New Testament Survey even if they’ve never taken a college class before,” Brewer said.

For more information, contact the SWOSU-Sayre Registrar’s Office at (580) 928-5533.

Enrollment is under way for the fall semester. Classes begin August 23rd.
