Wolgamott Reelected National President of Tri Beta

Dr. Gary Wolgamott, associate dean in the School of Allied Health Sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, was recently reelected as the national president of Beta Beta Beta (Tri Beta), a national biological honor society.

His nomination and reelection occurred during the Tri Beta national convention business meeting held at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL. Wolgamott has served as the national president since being elected at the national convention in Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 2000.

Tri Beta is a national biological honor society for undergraduate students with nearly 500 chapters representing all 50 states and Puerto Rico. 

The average student membership of Tri Beta ranges between 18 and 20,000 students each year. The national headquarters is located at the University of Northern Alabama in Florence.

Faculty advisors for the Delta Sigma chapter at SWOSU are Sue Ball and Dr. Bill Seibert.
