Veterans Honored at SWOSU Memorial Student Center Activities


Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Student Government Association and the Collegiate Activities Board hosted a Veteran’s Day celebration November 13 on the Weatherford campus.

Veterans from the area were honored at a luncheon, and a student ribbon-cutting ceremony for the renovated Memorial Student Center was held. SWOSU President John Hays, Provost Blake Sonobe and Vice President Tom Fagan, all veterans, were specially recognized.

Cutting the ribbon for the renovated Memorial Student Center is SWOSU SGA President Garrett King.
