SWOSU Offering American Indian Self-Determination Contract Course
Enrollment for an American Indian Self-Determination Contract Administration course is continuing through January 24 at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.
The interactive video course (AMIS 4012) can be taken at Weatherford, Anadarko or Concho.
Don Tofpi, retired regional self-determination officer/senior awarding official for the Bureau of Indian Affairs, will be the course instructor.
The course is designed to provide a basic understanding knowledge and “hands on” approach of day to day administration of Bureau of Indian Affairs programs contracted by eligible tribal governments. Students will learn to plan, prepare, administer and close out contracts according to applicable laws, regulations and policies.
The class is held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. and enrollment is limited to 20 students.
