SWOSU Library Needs Students' Favorite Books

March 7, 2007

The Al Harris Library at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford is looking for SWOSU students’ favorite books.

As part of National Library Week coming up later in April, the library staff is asking SWOSU students to share a book that has inspired, informed, changed a perspective on a topic or just provided entertainment.

The library will then sponsor an exhibit and book discussion on “Favorite Books of SWOSU Students” during the celebration April 15-21. The staff needs students to submit their favorite books by March 13 by filling out a form on the library’s web site at

http://www.swosu.edu/library/forms/favoritebook.asp.

The favorite book, as well as information that is submitted, will be displayed as part of the National Library Week exhibit at the Al Harris Library.  All participants will be invited to a book discussion on Wednesday, April 18, at 3:30 p.m. in the Library Instruction Room to talk about their favorite book.

Additional information is available by calling Linda Pye at (580) 774-7021 or by email at linda.pye@swosu.edu.
