SWOSU Employees in the Spotlight

Carter McDonald

Carter McDonald and Iona Miller are the employees in the spotlight for the month of March at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

McDonald is a police officer for the SWOSU Department of Public Safety.  He has worked at SWOSU for three years. Carter and his wife, Chelsea, live in Weatherford with their 2-year-old son, Kota.  He is a Sigma Tau Gamma alumnus.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, scuba diving and spending time with his family.

Miller is the administrative assistant for SWOSU Sponsored Programs and Continuing Education. She has worked at SWOSU for almost two years. She and her husband, Mike, live in Hydro. They have three children:  Michael, Steven and Tana.  She attends the Hydro First Baptist Church. She previously worked for SWOSU for 14 years but left in order to attend college full-time. In 2003, she graduated from SWOSU with a bachelor’s degree. She enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with her family.
