SWOSU Student Elections on April 10-11

SWOSU students go to the polls on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 10-11, to elect a student body president and vice president for 2007-08.

Current Student Body President Garrett King of Binger, a junior majoring in history and political science, filed for reelection to the campus’s highest student office. SGA Public Relations Secretary Donovan Fuller of Sand Springs, a second-year College of Pharmacy student, is King’s vice-presidential running mate.

Associate Justice of the Student Supreme Court Greg Franklin of Midwest City, a senior majoring in criminal justice, is challenging King’s bid for a second term. Student Senate Parliamentarian Sean Dooley of Weatherford, a senior majoring in music education and music performance, is Franklin’s vice-presidential running mate.

Student Body Treasurer Chaz Morgan of Canadian, Texas, stands unopposed for reelection as chief financial officer of the student body.

The election is Tuesday, April 10, and Wednesday, April 11, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center.
