SWOSU Biology Students Win Awards

SWOSU Award Winners
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Biology Club and Beta Beta Beta recently held their annual honors banquet on the Weatherford campus. Eighteen scholarships and awards were presented to biology students. Among those receiving Otis King Memorial Scholarships were (from left): M’Kenzi Crabb, Hollis; Kassandra Guthmueller, Purcell; Grace Ann Jones, VanBuren, Ark.; and Kasandra Gurtner, Weatherford. Those receiving Jerry and Shawn Grizzle Scholarships were (continuing from the left): Chris Turna, Waukomis; Danielle Gross, Mill Creek; and Whitney Wichert, Pampa, Texas.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Biology Club and Beta Beta Beta recently held their annual honors banquet on the Weatherford campus. Eighteen scholarships and awards were presented to biology students. Among those receiving scholarships were (from left): Migun Shakya, Nepal, Ottis and Buena Ballard Memorial Scholarship; Garrett Scott, Granite, Ryan Peters Memorial Scholarship; Ashika Shrestra, Nepal, International/Out of State Biologist Scholarship; and David Supeck of Tulsa (Bishop Kelley) and David Hollrah of Oklahoma City (PC North), both Dr. John and Shirley Huser Scholarships.
