Dougherty Honored for Work on Board at Dartmouth

Cindy Dougherty, dean of students at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, was recently honored for completing her fifth year on the executive board of the Allwin Initiative for Corporate Citizenship of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Among those there were (from left): John Vogel, Dartmouth College professor of entrepreneurship in the social sector and faculty director of corporate citizenship; Patricia Palmiotto, director of the Allwin Initiative; Cindy Dougherty; and Dartmouth student Ravi Raj Prabakaran, who made a presentation to the board on findings from a project that Dougherty and students compiled together.

Cindy Dougherty, dean of students at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, just completed her fifth year on the executive board of the Allwin Initiative for Corporate Citizenship of the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Dougherty is a founding member of the Initiative and the board.

She was honored for her contributions at the bi-annual board meeting held May 3-4 at Dartmouth. She was presented with a crystal vase on behalf of the board.

Dougherty, also a visiting executive professor at Tuck since 1999, said she was most honored when one of her students, Ravi Raj Prabakaran, presented to the board the results of their project: “The Allwin Curriculum Task Force Report.”
