Ashlynn KarlinSeven-year-old Ashlynn Brooke Karlin, who is the Oklahoma Star for the Miss SWOSU Pageant, has won a Community Service Project Award at this week’s Miss Oklahoma Pageant.

She then accompanied the family on a shopping spree in Weatherford.

Other Oklahoma Stars, Miss Oklahoma candidates, and friends and supporters of the candidates were in attendance when Karlin was presented the award.

The Oklahoma Star mentoring program is designed to expose girls from ages 6-11 to outstanding young women as role models.

Karlin is the daughter of Mike and Angie Karlin of Weatherford.
