SWOSU Freshmen Numbers Already at 671
June 25, 2007
Southwestern Oklahoma State University's freshmen class for this fall numbers 671 after the latest enrollment session held as part of the New Student Orientation program on the Weatherford campus.
Tamra Misak, director of the NSO program, said SWOSU freshmen enrollment is higher at this point compared to numbers from the past several years.
Other upcoming New Student Orientation programs on the SWOSU campus are July 19 and August 17.
Students must apply and be accepted to SWOSU before they can attend an enrollment session. Each of the enrollment sessions offers students the chance to meet current SWOSU students and new freshmen, visit and enroll with a faculty advisor within the major they have selected, and get all their questions answered.
Southwestern Oklahoma State University is Oklahoma’s premier regional university. SWOSU offers 15 nationally-accredited academic programs—the most among Oklahoma’s regional universities.
