Informational DVDs Available from SWOSU-Sayre

June 27, 2007

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Sayre campus is coming to a television screen near you.

SWOSU-Sayre will make informational DVDs available to the public in the coming weeks. The DVDs will discuss degree programs, career opportunities and financial aid.

“We’re making information accessible to area residents who are considering college,” said SWOSU-Sayre faculty member Terry Ford. “Whether you’re a high school student thinking about what to do after graduation or a forty-something who would like to offer your children and yourself a better life, these DVDs can tell you how SWOSU at Sayre can help.”

Topics include how to apply for financial aid, programs of study and their related professions. Information about how high school juniors and seniors can take courses at the Sayre campus will also be included.

Viewers can expect to meet SWOSU-Sayre students, as well as administrators, faculty and staff. The DVDs will be available for area high schools, civic groups and individuals when they are completed.

For information about the DVDs, call SWOSU-Sayre Financial Aid Director Ron Kistler at (580) 928-5533.
