Five SWOSU Students Win Parent's Day Scholarships

Five SWOSU students each won $500 tuition scholarships this past Saturday at Parent’s Day activities on the Weatherford campus.

Winners were:

  • Freshman Allison Stegman, daughter of Karen and Allen Stegman of Enid, signed up at La La & Friends
  • Freshman Daniel McClung, son of Danny McClung of Lawton, signed up at Downtown Diner
  • Freshman Leslie Ott, daughter of Steve and Sherrie Ott of Ardmore, signed up at Butcher’s Clothing Company
  • Junior Jamie Forrest, daughter of Sherri Forrest of Watonga, signed up at Caulkins Conoco
  • Sophomore Sheena Williams, daughter of Rob and Sharon Williams of Headrick, signed up at La La & Friends

Fifty-one area businesses made possible the scholarship giveaway. The winners were announced at halftime of the SWOSU football game.
