SWOSU College of Pharmacy Plans Open House During Homecoming
Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy alumni and friends are invited to celebrate SWOSU’s Homecoming this Saturday, November 3.
The SWOSU College of Pharmacy will have an open house from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
“This is a casual, come-and-go event that gives our alumni and friends a chance to view the remodeling of the facilities, see the new pharmacy museum, take a stroll through the Pharmacy Alumni Garden, and visit with faculty and former classmates,” said Dr. H. David Bergman, dean of the college.
A special tribute to the Class of 1957 will be held during the 50-year Pharmacy Graduate Ceremony at 10 a.m. The 40-year Class and other reunion classes will also be recognized at the event.
The Pharmacy Alumni Association is providing a complimentary lunch at approximately 11:30 a.m. for all pharmacy alumni and guests attending the open house. All events will be held on the third floor of the Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy Building on the SWOSU campus.
“Homecoming is a special time for the College of Pharmacy and for its alumni to come back and reconnect with old friends and faculty,” Bergman said. “We are excited about the return of so many of our pharmacy graduates. It is an indication of their loyalty, pride and continued support for the SWOSU College of Pharmacy.”
